The Information Technology Portfolio is a tool for making sound decisions about the agency's investments in data, software, hardware, networks, and supporting facilities.
Geographic information systems (GIS), including spatial data and applications, are critical tools for environmental management.
Ecology's Information Integration Project (IIP) was a major step forward in Ecology's enterprise approach to information management. The IIP was initiated in 1994. A number of documents are available providing detailed information on major elements of the IIP.
