Independent Science Panel Review of Ecology's Stormwater Management Manual for Western Washington
In 2002 the Governor's Salmon Recovery Office requested a technical review by the Independent Science Panel of the Stormwater Management Manual for Western Washington. The Panel's overall conclusions are provided in its Letter to Governor Locke, Senator West, and Representative Chopp (Adobe Acrobat, PDF, format).

Stormwater Policy Advisory Committee
The 1999 Legislature directed the Department of Ecology to form an advisory committee for the purpose of updating the stormwater management plan and stormwater technical manual and making stormwater management recommendations. The advisory committee considered policy issues associated with the stormwater technical manual, provided comment and suggestions on the scope and content of the stormwater management study and recommendations to the Legislature.
