Community Litter Cleanup ProgramThe Community Litter Cleanup Program provides money to local governments to clean up litter and illegal dumps, as well as educate the public of the consequences of littering. This is not a grant or loan program. It is a contracted funding program to provide money to communities through interagency agreements. The contracts are awarded once each biennium. The application period for the current biennium is now closed (July 1, 2007 – June 30, 2009). The application period for the 2009 – 2011 biennium will open late in 2008. New program guidelines and application forms will be posted on this page late in 2008.
