Lovrics Sea Craft Inc cleanup, Anacortes

The Lovric's Sea Craft Inc cleanup site is about 8.7 acres. It was originally developed in the late 1890s for work related to the fishing industry. In 1965 the property was a shipyard. It's now a boat repair and maintenance facility that includes two warehouse buildings, two marine railways that connect upland repair areas to marine waters, a paint shed, and some small structures.

Potentially hazardous chemicals have been found in samples taken at the site.

• Draft Agreed Order: a legal agreement between Ecology and Guemes Channel Holdings, LLC, the potentially liable person, requiring Guemes Channel Holdings to prepare plans for investigating and cleaning up the site.

• Draft Public Participation Plan: informs the public of upcoming opportunities to get involved and how comments will be used for cleanup decisions.
